Back online: about cars.

I write this item of my blog in English because I know that there will be viewers from abroad. Out of Serbia perhaps, or may be Romania. I'll start with wednesday. It was the day of leaving Campina early and traveling to Serbia. Up to Sebes the trip went very well. Almost no traffic. But then the problems started. The traffic stopped and didn't move for almost two houres. Then slowly we started to move again but it took al least an hour before we were driving normal again. Only after Deva the road was normal again. Up to the Serbian-border everything went well. At the border the  customs weighed the car and I had to pay five euro's and after that I could go to Uzice. After a trip of 19 houres I arrived safely at the house of Chris and Mirjam. We had a chat and afterwards I went to bed. I was pretty tired.
The next morning I met the team from Youth with a Mission, from Amsterdam, who are on their out outreach inn Serbia. We had breakfast together and afterwards they gave me the opportunity to share about my calling for Romania and Serbia. At one o'clock I had to pick up at a gasstation. While I was parkin a car I didn't notice a car standing behind me. While backing up I bumped into it. A little panicked I got out of the car. The other car didn't show any damage, but my car had a big dent on the corner of the bumper. I consider it a miracle that the other car didn't have any damage. Chris said that he had to pick up his car at the garage and perhaps the guys working there could look after it.
In the meantime we went into the town of Uzice to check a café where Chris and Mirjam probably could have English lessons to get in contact with the youth of Uzice. We went to the cafe called Timemachine. It was a very beautiful decorated cafe with old stuff like radio's, photocamera's. It was like going back in time. Mirjam was able to speak to the owner of the place and she was enthousiastic. They even made an appointment to have a Latin dance evening on sunday.
At five we went to pick up Chris car at the garage: Autoservice Paki. It's run by Marko and his brother. They were able to take the dent out of the bumper. They didn't charge anything, we only had to have a drink with them. They really showed some Serbian hospitallity. I promised to advertise on the web for their garage. They also showed us a rally-team they're working with.
In the evening I visited Srdjan and Betha in their beautiful house. They married in november. We had a meal together and talked a lot. It was good meet each other again.
At the same time we're the girls from the team having a "sumba dance evening" with about 10 Serbian girls (and one boy). Al to make contact with the youth from Uzice to build up relations and to share Jesus' love for them.
